The Laura Hay Humphrey Foundation is devoted to the memory of a positive and tenacious young female role model who was active in her community and loved the arts. We intend to combine Laura’s love of children and the arts by aiding youth in the Kansas City area who might not have had the same opportunities as Laura.

Last December, Cloud Nine Aerial Arts in Lee’s Summit invited us to sell flowers at their recital. It was another successful and fun fundraiser! In the picture is Elle Zinn, daughter of board member D’Ann Zinn.

The Laura Hay Humphrey Foundation recently donated $1,000 to Theatre of the Imagination to establish a scholarship fund intended to help area families with performing arts education for their children.  They plan to identify students who mirror Laura’s generous spirit to help them thrive in the arts, just the way Laura did. Please check out the link to their website and watch some videos showcasing the great work the Theatre has done in our community!  www.dramakc.com
